Tyler has been a staff accountant with WTB Accounting for six months, specializing in real estate & development accounting. At the time he joined the firm, he had been working in the industry for more than five years. Tyler is also the treasurer on the board of the North Platte Citizen Advocacy, Inc.
Tyler chose to be an accountant because as he puts it, “Numbers make sense.” He sees accounting as an important, stable field that could provide a healthy living. He loves being part of a firm that provides small businesses with services and resources that they typically wouldn’t have on their own.
Tyler attended Nebraska Wesleyan University where he earned a bachelors’ degree in accounting and a minor in finance & economics. His hometown is North Platte, Nebraska, where he now lives with his wife and their menagerie of pets including three dogs, Khloe, Bo, and Hunter, and their cat, Manson.
Tyler spends his free time traveling, shooting clays, golfing, and watching comedy movies. Lately, he has been busy helping his wife remodel their home.
