Our fearless leader, Matthew Arena, founded WTB Accounting in 2015. He was driven by the knowledge that he and his team could provide the outsourced accounting small to mid-sized businesses need to make smart decisions, run more efficiently, and grow exponentially. Now, close to a decade later, he has proven the concept many times over and is proud to have a highly qualified team and stable of successful clients spread all over the US.
With previous analyst, accounting, controller and CFO experience in other firms, banking and even the Department of Defense, Matthew brings a wide variety of experience to the work he does. He has exceptional knowledge in the areas of mergers & acquisitions, exit strategy, valuations, forecasting and finance, allowing him to expertly advise businesses from inception to departure.
Matthew earned a Bachelors’ Degree in Finance from the University of San Diego. Originally from Syracuse, NY, he now calls Rapid City, SD home with his wife and daughter.
Fluent in Italian, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching Italian soccer, fishing, boating and woodworking.
